Prosperously

When I was still living with my parents, I used to have a bedraggled coleus plant.  It didn't get much sunlight, which caused its colors to be very washed out, almost to the point of being only green leaves.

But every spring, I would take a few cuttings, put them in water until they grew roots, and then stuck them in a planter outside.  The bright, sunny days would bring out the best in those plants and they looked beautiful. 

I should start doing this again.

All the leaves have blown away now, but photographs allow the beauty to remain.

 "Come on, mom!  It's cold!"  Mom used the dining room table as a changing table for little me.

 "I. Am. Speed."  Romeo loved running around the yard.  Especially if there was a red dot to chase.
