Growing up as a landlocked city girl, I didn't see much sea life up close. Last month, I spent a few hours in Grand Cayman and got to see, touch, and hold some amazing creatures.
The only starfish I had ever seen were the dry, lifeless ones you can find in stores. I had no idea they came in so many different shapes, textures, and colors.

I haven't used my DSLR much in quite a while. For this trip, I used my iPhone 14 Pro in raw mode. To avoid surface reflections, I held my phone underwater.
