I was perusing my photo library this evening and came upon Rex.  How could I forget about Rex?  He was a crowd-pleaser (mostly women) at a special photoshoot for a photography group I used to be part of.  As seen in 2010.

Despite hand-holding my camera, not using a macro filter, and a breeze moving the flowers, I think this turned out awesome.

Convergency

A week ago I happened to come upon this interesting roundabout sculpture.  Being that it's round, it seems fitting to be here.  It looks like the inner part of the ring is crushed glass.  I may have to investigate it further someday.  

Ok, so then I start googling and find out that its installation was a big to-do for the city of Bloomington and has been around since 2015.  It's called Convergence and it's 35 feet tall!  You can read more about it on the artist's page.

To get a perspective on size, here is another angle.  It is quite large.

I love how the sunlight is shining through the honey bee.  It looks like a piece of amber or a piece of honey candy.
