Bee

This morning I let the dog out and happened to look over where the happy baby butternut squash plants were.  The morning sun was shining brightly on a whole bevy of beautiful, fuzzy squash flowers.

Deciding not to let opportunity pass me by, I headed out to take several pictures with my phone.  As an added bonus, a busy little bee was happily pollinating one of the flowers.  There's pollen all over his little leg.  

Distractedly

My husband took a photography class in high school.  I don't know if his mom was aware she was being photographed at the time or not.  Circa late 1980s.

Mini

A cute little baby butternut squash sneaking over from our neighbor's garden. 

Tropically

A neighbor's hibiscus looks like the tropical variety.  It definitely looks like it's been enjoying the tropical weather we've been having.

When I eventually get my flower beds going, I want to get some of the perennial kind again.
