Unflappably

This rooster never gets his feathers ruffled over the small stuff.

Vitality

It was this lovely lady's birthday today.  A few friends spread out in a socially-distanced backyard oasis made for a wonderful party.

Feisty

My great-grandmother was a red-headed spitfire whose marriage didn't last at a time when women didn't typically get a divorce.  But my great-grandmother did.

I suppose after years of not getting along with her husband, to the point of having child number 5 sleep between them so her husband couldn't try for child number 6, it was probably a good choice to get a divorce.

Back then, there was no Photoshop to get rid of the ex, but I'm sure it was more cathartic anyway for her to edit her photos by ripping them in half.

I sure wish I could have met her.

Infinity

I distinctly remember this walk.  Every time I went to take a picture, Romeo would yank on the leash.

I think this was also the time I had to give up and call my husband for a ride home because no matter how far we walked, Romeo wanted to walk farther.

If doggie heaven looks like this autumn walk, Romeo would be happy forever.

As seen in 2014.

Insouciantly

Those ears flop any direction they want.
