Bloody

I was trying to do some touch-up painting this evening and managed to get more paint on me, the paper towel, and the ground than on the designated object.  Looks like a bloody massacre!

When you have to remove half the stuff under the hood to fix the problem.

Every time someone makes a mess in a public bathroom stall, this should be waiting for them when they open the door.

Fleetingly

I was looking through old slides tonight and found this one I took in the same spot as yesterday's blog, but in 1988.  The more things change, the more they stay the same.  Main difference was my lack of a telephoto lens back in '88.  Fall colors were already past peak, so probably closer to the end of October.  Fall colors are always so fleeting.

I loved growing up next to the Mississippi River.
