Fecundity
On our Iowa journey we came upon a small group of lakes with a couple hundred pelicans hanging out. Groups of them would slowly drift to one end and then they would start taking off into the sky. They would fly around in a few circles and then land back in the water and do it all over again. It was like they were on a ride at an amusement park.

Resplendency
I got some lovely Freesia flowers from my husband a week ago, which also do a fine job of commemorating Easter today. He is risen! He is risen, indeed!

Lumpy
Had to stop at Menards today and noticed the nastiest pile of winter snow dregs you ever did see. This worker was relieving stress by picking up dirty snow lumps with his forklift and dropping them from great heights to watch them smash on the ground.

Atrophy
When we passed through Dubuque, we saw this lovely old brewery in a incredibly sad state of disrepair. According to one online article, it's been in this state for many years. I hope they can find someone to restore it to it's former glory.
It's kinda hard to see, but there are pigeons waddling around on the box where the upper window should be and a tree growing out of the side of the building.
