A springtime picture from long, long ago.  I still have my stuffed cat.

This is another of the "lost" images that I didn't find until I started scanning old negatives.

Ironically

Edie sold Avon for decades, lots and lots of it.  She was very good at it.   Every year our women's group at church had a Christmas gift exchange.  Edie opened up her gifts and, ironically, it was Avon!  She took it in stride though, putting on a brave face for the camera.

We were passing through Monticello today and made a stop at East Bridge Park.  With the spring thaw, big chunks of ice, flotsam and whole trees were traveling down the Mississippi.  Here's one piece of said ice.
