This picture fascinated me as a child.  The giant orange was perplexing to my young mind.

Bright and sunny today.  The snow is melting and the Mississippi is free-flowing again.

Conspicuously

Another product of the rain/dropping temps mix Friday morning – frozen footprints.

Spiny

The streets on the morning commute were a fabulous combination of leftover puddles from several days of rain and a thin layer of ice everywhere due to a dip in temps – including the nubs on my tires.  All this gave my truck a lovely porcupine feel.
