Risky

Yesterday I mentioned that people go down to the falls regardless of barriers.  Here are two of those individuals, caught during a photo shoot of some kind. 

After the shoot, I watched the man on the right make it to the top of the stairway, clinging to the railing for dear life.  My knee still says no.

Slippy

The park tries to fence off the stairs going down to the falls during the off-season, but people just rip through it and go down there anyway.  I wonder how many people end up sliding down the stairs instead.   My knee says no, just no.

Underlyingly

The water is still flowing over the falls, although you can't see it because of the ice.  Here at the bottom of the falls, the water is peeking through. 

When I stood on the bridge at the top of the falls, I could hear the water gurgling under the ice.

Untimely

It's probably a good thing that Sea Salt Eatery is closed for the season.  The outdoor seating would be a little nippy right now.
