Today I've really been missing Jewel.  More so than any time since the first month she was gone.  Here is a cute image of her from 2003.

I walked out of the house this morning and saw this lovely rain-soaked leaf.  I really didn't have time, but I made time to get out my camera and take some images. 

It was a sign of things to come as we had a torrential downpour when I left work this evening.
