Itsy-bitsy
My littlest gravitated to the only sun patch in the room like a moth to a flame. She looks calm and peaceful, but for some reason, the song One is the Loneliest Number popped into my head as soon as I saw the image.

Turkey
This turkey and his family has taken up residence at a local strip mall. Yesterday afternoon, after the monsoons had finally passed, he was standing out in the sun in full glory. I thought I was finally going to get a great shot of him. But while I was parking and getting out my camera, a couple and their dog decided to invade his space, so he ran over to hide in the landscaping and preen himself instead.
This is the best I could get as he refused to strut his stuff again. I don't know where the wife and kids were today. Probably shopping at Burlington.
Hand-holding the camera zoomed out to 300mm, so Mr. Gobble isn't as sharp as I'd like.

Dedicatedly
Continuing with the dad theme. He was a hard working blue collar worker who worked for the same company for over 30 years.
